KLAIM Amsterdam developer documentation — streetwear & sneakers
KLAIM Amsterdam sells streetwear, sneakers, slides and accessories online and at Kalverstraat 163 in Amsterdam. This documentation helps developers and AI agents read the catalog and connect to the store's existing Shopify Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) service.
When to use KLAIM
Use KLAIM to find streetwear and sneakers, compare available sizes and prices, read store policies, or help a buyer prepare a purchase through Shopify's supported shopping flow. Recheck the selected variant before quoting availability. Purchase and payment require the buyer's authorization.
Quickstart: no KLAIM API key for public reads
Discover the current service endpoints and protocol versions:
curl -sS https://klaimamsterdam.com/.well-known/ucp
List the native MCP tool schemas over Streamable HTTP:
curl -sS https://klaimamsterdam.com/api/ucp/mcp \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-H 'Accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list","params":{}}'
Read a known product's public JSON. This is Shopify's Ajax Product API, and its successful response uses text/javascript with a JSON body:
curl -sS https://klaimamsterdam.com/products/yeezy-slide-black.js
The default store currency is EUR. Monetary values in this product response are scaled by 100: 6700 means EUR 67.00. For buyer-specific prices and currency, supply context using the supported UCP schema. Products can sell out; this example is not a stock guarantee.
API reference and agent instructions
- KLAIM Amsterdam OpenAPI 3.1.1 specification: typed HTTP operations, parameters, MCP requests and errors.
- KLAIM Amsterdam agent guide (Markdown): when to use the store, capabilities and limits.
- KLAIM Amsterdam machine-readable resource index.
- Shopify native agent instructions and live UCP profile.
- Authentication and permissions.
- Error handling and rate limits.
- Store sitemap.
The OpenAPI document describes existing endpoints. For MCP tool calls, tools/list remains the current authority. Every shopping tool requires a valid public agent profile in meta.ucp-agent.profile. Follow the Shopify agent documentation and the endpoint advertised by UCP discovery.
Authentication, keys and permissions
Public discovery and product reads do not need a KLAIM developer account. KLAIM offers optional scoped read-only API keys below; these do not replace Shopify credentials. Production agents authenticate through Shopify; customer data and payment actions require the relevant platform permissions and buyer authorization. See the authentication guide before calling shopping tools.
Testing and sandbox
Use the read-only discovery and product examples above against the public store. KLAIM has a disconnected read-only catalog sandbox below. It has no synthetic UCP checkout or payment endpoint. Do not create real checkouts, place orders or submit payments as tests. mock.shop provides a free, disconnected Shopify Storefront GraphQL sample catalog; it does not represent KLAIM stock or implement the KLAIM UCP service.
CLI and function calling
Shopify publishes the UCP CLI on npm as @shopify/ucp-cli. For a minimal read-only example, download the KLAIM reference client, inspect it, and run node klaim-agent-cli.mjs discover, node klaim-agent-cli.mjs tools or node klaim-agent-cli.mjs product yeezy-slide-black. Node.js 22 or newer is required. An installable npm-format package is available below; registry publication awaits publisher authentication.
The OpenAPI operations have unique operation IDs and typed schemas. Native MCP tools supply their own input schemas for function-calling adapters. Tool discovery does not authorize an agent to call purchase functions.
Product pricing and contact
Prices, currency and stock status are included in product-page structured data and product JSON. KLAIM sells physical products and does not charge a developer subscription for public reads. Shipping, taxes and applicable discounts are confirmed at checkout. Contact support@klaimamsterdam.com for store questions.
KLAIM read-only API, keys and sandbox
The public catalog API is free and requires no account, payment or sales conversation. Anonymous reads allow 30 requests per minute. An optional scoped key allows 120 requests per minute, expires after 90 days and can be revoked by its holder. Keys never grant access to customer data, carts, orders, checkout or payment. The server stores a hash, not the key itself.

Try the disconnected sandbox
curl -sS https://klaim-agent-api.still-wind-6f53.workers.dev/sandbox/v1/products/demo-hoodie
This returns fictional sample data labelled sandbox. The sample is not for sale; the sandbox makes no calls to Shopify, cart, order or payment services. Unknown fixtures return structured JSON errors.
Read a live public product
curl -sS https://klaim-agent-api.still-wind-6f53.workers.dev/v1/products/yeezy-slide-black
The live service reads public product JSON and normalizes errors. Monetary integers in these responses are EUR cents. It does not reserve stock or authorize a purchase. Recheck availability before making a recommendation.
Generate an optional scoped key
Use Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY with the matching environment. GET /v1/keys/current returns only your key's permissions and expiry; DELETE /v1/keys/current revokes only that key. At most three keys can be issued per hour per client. Do not paste keys into public chats or source code.
MCP with resources
Connect to https://klaim-agent-api.still-wind-6f53.workers.dev/mcp using MCP Streamable HTTP. Initialize, send the initialized notification, and discover tools/list and resources/list. The service exposes a read-only get_product tool and three documented resources: the agent guide, OpenAPI reference and catalog agent profile. Read each resource using its returned URI. A sandbox key makes the tool use only the fictional catalog.
The original Shopify UCP service remains responsible for shopping actions. This read-only service has no purchase tools and does not replace Shopify checkout.
CLI package
Download and inspect klaim-agent-cli-1.0.0.tgz, then install it with npm install ./klaim-agent-cli-1.0.0.tgz. Try klaim-agent sandbox-product demo-hoodie or klaim-agent resources. The npm registry release is pending publisher authentication; the installable package is available now.
